Deadlock Achievements

Get the first kill in a match

Unlock: Be the first player to kill an enemy hero in any match.
Tip: Play aggressive early. Assassins like Paradox have the best chance for first blood.

Kill 5 enemies without dying

Unlock: Achieve a 5-kill streak.
Tip: Play safely after 3 kills. Don't get greedy—retreat and heal rather than chasing risky kills.

Kill 10 enemies without dying

Unlock: Achieve a 10-kill streak.
Tip: This requires exceptional positioning and team support. Communicate with your support for heals and shields.

Destroy 50 towers

Unlock: Cumulative across all matches.
Tip: Focus on pushing lanes. Destroying towers is more important than kills for this achievement.

Kill the Patron 10 times

Unlock: Participate in killing the central boss 10 times.
Tip: Coordinate with your team for Patron spawns. Ward the area and contest with full team presence.

Win 10 matches with a single hero

Unlock: Win 10 matches using the same hero.
Tip: Pick a hero you enjoy and stick with them. Focus on mastering their mechanics.

Win a match with 10 different heroes

Unlock: Win at least one match with 10 unique heroes.
Tip: Try different heroes in unranked matches. Learn at least one hero from each role.

Reach Bronze rank in ranked mode

Unlock: Complete placement matches and achieve Bronze rank.
Tip: Focus on fundamentals: last-hitting, map awareness, and team coordination.

Reach Immortal rank in ranked mode

Unlock: Climb to the highest rank.
Tip: This requires exceptional game knowledge and mechanical skill. Watch pro players and learn from every loss.

Achievement Hunting Errors

• Chasing achievements in ranked: Trying to get "Jack of All Trades" in ranked tanks your MMR. Use unranked for hero-specific achievements.
• Ignoring team for streaks: Going for Killing Spree by abandoning objectives loses games and often gets you killed anyway.
• Not checking progress: The achievement tracker is in Profile > Stats. Check it to see which heroes you still need for Jack of All Trades.
• Hero Mastery in bad matchups: Forcing your mastery hero into a counter-pick matchup makes the 10 wins take twice as long.
• Skipping tutorials: The tutorial achievements grant 500 bonus Soul for new accounts. They're worth doing even if you know the basics.

Efficient Achievement Completion

• Stack achievements: Play a new hero in unranked to work on Jack of All Trades while also hunting First Blood. Two achievements at once.
• Patron priority: Coordinate with your team to secure Patron kills. The team-wide buff makes winning easier, which helps all win-based achievements.
• Safe streak play: After 3 kills, play defensively. Let your team engage first, then clean up from the backline.
• Tower pushing comps: For Tower Destroyer, pick heroes with good wave clear like McGinnis. Focus on taking towers over kills.
• Review replays: Watch replays of your losses to identify positioning errors. This accelerates improvement more than grinding games.
